See SwornIn
in action.
No sales call. No gated video. This is exactly what the firm workflow looks like — from a plain-language case description to a vetted, scored, Daubert-checked expert in your inbox. Three minutes, honestly annotated, pricing included.
Describe your case
Plain language in, AI-parsed requirements out.
Review scored matches
ERI scores, Daubert flags, written rationales.
Check your judge
Expert-testimony tendencies, opinions cited.
Send the inquiry
Direct to the expert, managed on-platform.
Four steps. No middlemen.
No guesswork.
The panels below are styled recreations of the live product — built in HTML, not screenshots — with sample data clearly labeled. What they show is exactly what the platform does today.
Describe your case the way you'd describe it to a colleague.
No keyword gymnastics, no Boolean strings, no browsing 20 directories. You write two or three sentences — specialty, jurisdiction, side, timeline — and the AI parses them into structured requirements before it searches.
You see the parsed requirements before results render, so you know the engine understood the case. If it missed something, refine the sentence and run it again — it's a conversation, not a form.
Every match arrives scored, flagged, and explained.
Results aren't an unexplained list. Each expert card carries a match score, the transparent Expert Reliability Index (ERI) — a 0–100 composite of Daubert record, case history, credential depth, and engagement quality — and a written rationale: why this expert, for this case.
Daubert history isn't buried — it's flagged on the card, before you spend an inquiry. Rates are published upfront, so you never open a conversation you can't afford to finish.
Know how your judge rules on experts — before you brief.
Type the judge's name. SwornIn analyzes published opinions for Daubert and expert-admissibility rulings and returns a tendency — admits, mixed, or excludes — with a plain-English summary and the actual opinions cited and linked.
It's the question every litigator asks in the hallway ("how is she on experts?") answered from the record instead of anecdote. A free version of this tool is public — try it below with a real judge.
Send the inquiry. Manage the engagement. Keep the thread.
Inquiries go straight to the expert's SwornIn inbox with your case summary, jurisdiction, timeline, and budget attached — no broker relaying messages. As you type, the platform scores your inquiry and tells you what to add so experts respond faster.
Every conversation lives in your engagement dashboard with full thread history. When you confirm an engagement, your firm pays a one-time 8% platform fee — the expert invoices you directly at their full published rate.

The 8% platform fee, explained honestly
The fee is paid by your firm — never deducted from the expert. It applies once per firm–expert relationship: 8% of the first confirmed engagement, and nothing on any engagement with that expert after it. Traditional brokerages build a 15–30% commission into the expert's rate on every engagement, indefinitely — and usually don't tell you.
Because experts keep 100% of their rate on SwornIn, the rates you see on profiles are real numbers, not marked-up ones. On a $15,000 first engagement, the fee is $1,200 — versus $3,000–$4,500 baked invisibly into a brokerage's rate, every time.
The questions you're
actually asking.
Straight answers to the objections we hear most from firms.
Where does SwornIn's data come from?
Three places. Judge intelligence and Daubert history are built on the public court record — published opinions and expert-admissibility rulings, with the underlying opinions cited and linked so you can read them yourself. Credentials, licensure, testimony history, and rates come from each expert's vetting-grade application and are independently reviewed by our team before a profile goes live. Engagement signals come from activity on the platform itself. Nothing in a result card is unverifiable hearsay.
How is the Expert Reliability Index (ERI) calculated?
The ERI is a transparent 0–100 composite score of an expert's reliability as a litigation asset. It draws on four signal groups: Daubert record (challenges, exclusions, admissions with limits), case history and testimony volume, credential depth (licensure, board certification, publications), and engagement quality on the platform. It's a screening signal, not a verdict — it narrows the field and surfaces the record, and the hiring judgment stays yours.
What if my specialty is niche?
Describe it in plain language anyway — the AI parses specialty, sub-specialty, jurisdiction, and side, so "pediatric anesthesiology with awareness-under-anesthesia experience" is a normal query, not an edge case. SwornIn covers 15 practice areas and is actively recruiting in all of them. While the network grows, founding firms are also hand-matched by our team within 24 hours, and Enterprise plans include custom expert recruitment on demand. If we can't surface a credible candidate, we'll tell you that too.
How are experts vetted before they appear in my results?
Every expert completes a vetting-grade application — specialty, credentials, licensure, testimony history, rates, disclosures, and references — and passes independent review by our team before earning the SwornIn Certified designation. Nothing is self-published: unlike directories, where listings are written by the expert and never checked, no profile appears in firm search results without that review. Daubert history is surfaced on the card, not hidden in a footnote.
How does the 8% platform fee actually work?
Your firm pays it, once per firm–expert relationship — 8% of the first confirmed engagement, disclosed upfront, and nothing on later engagements with that expert. Experts invoice you directly at their full published rate and keep 100% of it. Compare traditional brokerages, which build a 15–30% commission into the expert's rate on every engagement, indefinitely, without showing you the split.
Can we cancel anytime?
Yes. Firm plans are month-to-month with no long-term lock-in — cancel anytime, no penalties. Founding firms get 2 months free and no credit card is required to start. Any professional relationships you build with experts through SwornIn are yours to keep, on or off the platform.
